The beautiful Double Arch Retreat area has many amenities for those who want a quiet and secluded lifestyle, a place to retire, or a summer cabin. Though rural, this area has all the benefits of a small town America near Allardt, Jamestown, and the old English settlement of Rugby, Tennessee. With lots varying in size from five acres and larger, there is a total of 100 acres available. Water, gas, and electric are all available on a private road.
The Double Arch Retreat is nestled in the woodlands of Scott and Fentress counties and lies on the boundaries of the Big Sough Fork National River and Recreation Area. This area offers many wonders, such as the Double Arch, Potters Cave, Hole in the Ridge, Pocket Wilderness, and various wildlife.
Also located within the Double Arch Retreat is the Honey Creek Horse Camp. The horse camp has several horse and walking trails tied into the Big South Fork. This area has some of the best horseback riding trails in East Tennessee. The Big South Fork has various outdoor activities which include camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, and canoeing. If you are looking for a peaceful, quite, and rural setting with outdoor activities, this area is for you.
